IMPORTANT: Documentation Night 6/25

Required Documents (football & cheerleading…if not already submitted) ~

  • Birth Certificate
  • Medical Clearance Form
  • NHYFSC MTBI Concussion Form
  • NHYFSC Anti-Bullying Contract
  • NHYFSC Social Media Contract
  • Salem Rams Code of Conduct Form
  • Salem Rams Handbook Acknowledgement/Photo Waiver Form


Financial Responsibilities ~

  • Registration Check (if not already paid, $225 first child, $165 second child, $135 third child, $100 flag, $525 maximum)
  • Fundraiser Check ($100 per family…10 raffle calendars issued – can be resold to family & friends @ $10 per calendar)
  • Volunteer/Tag Day Retainer Check ($300 per athlete…2 hrs. tagging & 6 hrs. volunteering required to receive check back…check will only be cashed if either obligation is not fulfilled)

Football Only ~ (equipment will not be issued with incomplete paperwork)

  • All football players who have not been fitted for their newly designed game jersey MUST attend Documentation Night.  A Riddell representative will be on hand to assure a proper fit for all.
  •  No game jerseys will be ordered if not paid in full on or before June 25th.  Cost of Game jersey is $60.
  • Any athlete looking to purchase a new Riddell Speed Flex Helmet should be present on June 25th for a fitting…significantly discounted pricing will be given to those who do purchase.

Cheerleading Only ~ (cheerleaders are not able to practice with incomplete paperwork)

  • All cheerleaders MUST be present at documentation night for their uniform fitting.  Multiple Varsity Spirit reps will be on hand measuring athletes for this season new uniforms. 
  • Additionally, all cheerleaders MUST be fitted for this years new warmup jackets.  Cost of warmup jacket $60.00…must be paid for at time of fitting.
  • Cheer will NOT purchase warmup pants this year…only black leggings are required and must be purchased on your own.
  • We will also be sizing the girls for their game day jerseys…all new participants will get their first game jersey for free.  If you would like to order your daughter a second jersey or if you need a new size from previous years, the cost of the game jersey is $20.
  • Sneakers…Nfinity & Varsity will have shoe representatives present again this year at Documentation Night.  Any all-white cheerleading sneaker will suffice.
  • Competition Bow cost $20

Final Registration Night is this Wednesday (4/18) from 7:00-8:30pm in the Woodbury Cafe.  

You must pre-register online now on the state website- click link (www.nhyfsc.org), takes 2 minutes. 

**Must be registered online prior to Wednesday night, as we have paperwork we need to print out for you to sign.

Your child MUST be pre-registered prior to attending Registration.  To pre-register your child, go to www.nhyfsc.org and click on the “register online” tab.

The following documents should be completed and brought to registration night (Forms can be found on the Salem Rams website (www.salemrams.com) click on the Documents tab on left side of home page, then Registration Documentation Folder and the PDF 2018 Rams Required Paperwork- 7 pages):

  1.  Medical Clearance Form:
    • Must be signed/dated after January 1, 2018 by the player’s physician.  **No physical is required, just need form signed**
  2. Photocopy of Birth Certificate (no short forms allowed)
  3. Handbook Acknowledgement & Photo Waiver
  4. Code of Conduct
  5. Concussion Acknowledgement Form
  6. Anti-bullying Form
  7. Social Media Policy

In addition to the forms noted above, please bring the following payments (cash, check, credit card):

  • Registration - Checks payable to Salem Rams
    • The registration fee for the first family member is $225.00 (Flag football $100.00)
    • 2nd child registration is $165, 3rd child registration is $135.  Family registration cap is $525.00.
  • Game Jersey - Checks payable to Salem Rams (may be combined with registration check)
    • New players and Veteran players must be present for sizing to ensure proper fitting.
    • Game Jersey cost (tackle only) - $60.00

Salem Rams: 2018 Application for Football & Cheer Coaches

Hi Everyone!

Believe it or not, it is that time of year again.  The Salem Rams are now accepting applications for Head Football and Head Cheerleading Coaches for the 2018 Season. 

Whether you are interested in coaching our younger aged flag football kids (5, 6 & 7 yr olds), or perhaps one of our older aged football teams or any one of our phenomenal cheerleading teams, please complete the Salem Rams Coaching Application and the NHYFSC Volunteer Application form.  Both forms can be found on the Rams website (www.salemrams.com) under the documents tab on the left side of the home page.

 All completed applications must be mailed to the attention of the President at the following mailing address:

Lastly, regardless if you are a returning coach or a new coach, all interested candidates must fill out and send in an application.  In order to be considered for a football or cheerleading head coaching position, all applications must be received no later than March 23rd, 2018. Interviews and meetings will be conducted beginning as early as March 25th and concluding by EOD April 2nd. Please try to maintain somewhat of a flexible schedule.
